On March 12,2020, I paid $750 to have 2591 Lee Road surveyed, this let all four neighbors attached to this property know the property line and not assume a crooked fence in the backyard was the property line.

Having a survey may have ruffled a few feathers, but I don't give a hoot, because I'm not paying property taxes for my neighbors to enjoy my land or take ownership. So if any neighbor see me trimming or taking down a tree on the property line, it belongs to 2591 Lee Road .

I recall in a former neighborhood, my neighbor cut down a 100 year old Sequoia tree that was not on their property, they assumed it was their tree.

Long story short, the other neighbor sued and the court awarded a thousand dollars per year of growth, that was $100,000.

A tree expert counted 100 rings on the tree, each ring was one year of growth. Having a survey would have saved that homeowner thousands in legal fees.

You will notice, if you scroll to the near bottom of their web page, data for crimes are up to date to 2019, while the housing information is past due around 2009 and years away from the statute of limitations to file housing complaints.

They waited over a decade to release this information, in 2009 Cleveland Heights had 164 loans originated and 11 applications were not accepted, 35 denied, 21 withdrawn and 1 closed for incompleteness. A total of 68 did not buy a home.
